If it's possible to fall in love with a party, then that's exactly what happened to me this enchanted night! Saturday started out with stressing my butt off collecting forgotten backdrops and other items in Malmö to bring with me to Copenhagen in the late afternoon. Arriving to Copenhagen 17.45 I met up with Nick and from there we went to Amager Bio to drop off all the stuff. Me, Nick, Cizzi, Basse and Sofie ended up in a Thai restaurant where we spent quite a few hours drinking, eating and listening to X-Dream...yes, that's right! =:) A little after 22 we came back to Amager Bio, entered, admired the decorations and finally sat down to chat in the "Genetic Corner". (internal joke) Omid was the first to hit the decks, and did he ever! He hit them and us so hard, I really couldn't believe that this was the so called "warm up"... what on earth could we expect later on if the mere beginning was this great?! Recalling what kind of people I'd seen last time in Amager Bio, I was also pleasantly surprised to find that the crowd filling the dance floor was a whole lot better than then. Older and more mature people, not as hung up on their clothes and appearance and definitely here to party hard. Following Omid, Mr Mino Vaknin did a great livegig as Hypnosis. Truly rhythmic beats, heavy drumming and tunes making sure that no one was seated or able to keep still. It sure didn't hurt to look at this gorgeous guy either! =:) The crowd was having a total blast on the dance floor, and Amon's dj-set that followed surely didn't make them (us) slow down one single bit. He was excellent, forcing us to dance harder and creating a vibe that almost lifted the roof. I thought that the vibe and happiness had reached it's peek but boy, was I (and everybody else) in for a surprise! X-Dream. God's in my universe. Heavenly tunes. Almost unreal! I swear, this was totally outstanding and I really can't describe it in a truthful way... Ok, let me say it like this then: I had goosepimples _allover_ during the entire X-Dream-set - and that hasn't happened in many years! The guys jumped and danced and played most of the tracks from the latest cd "Radio" (wow, was Psychomachine great or what?!) and I can not remember last time a party in Copenhagen was this good! DO NOT MISS X-DREAM IF THEY'RE PLAYING CLOSE TO YOU SOMEWHERE SOON! Max (from Etnica & Pleidians) had the not-so-great honour to continue where X-Dream finished, and by now I was a wet spot on the floor. =:) We'd heard kick-ass music since the music started, and to say that we were exhausted by now is clearly an understatement. However did he play an excellent set (only a bit too fast for me to keep up) and no one was disappointed. The perfect ending to a perfect party! This time around, there was also a chill out by the way! Dj Coyle (hehe) played magnificent tunes, putting a lot of effort into the mixing and, of course, succeeding. Dear readers, this was just an awesome, outstanding, great, phreaky trip and the keyword is perfection. How many years will we have to wait until we can experience the sequel?
