Outpost is back! We haven't seen or heard anything from these guys since the Technostrojka Exhibition and the Ambient Day at Grå Hal in the end of January. I was quite certain that it would take longer before I could attend one of their parties again, but it was a pleasant surprise to find the Ryk 98 flyer and even more pleasant to attend the party.

It seems everybody are throwing parties at Club Sputnik these days, it's a brilliant party venue so I don't really mind. Just beware, though, so it won't be as overexposed as Pakhus was in the end of it's career as a party venue.

This was the (un)official afterparty to the big psytrance event at Grå Hal, where f e Riktam & Bansi kicked ass - or so I heard. I myself never went to Grå Hal, instead I was at a little preparty at Peter & Trine's together with a few friends. Me and Peter went to Sputnik around 1am, expected an empty venue (as the party at Grå Hal wouldn't end until 5am) but it was packed already!

The guys had done a swell job decorating the venue, something that at least I thought Pakhus lacked more than once in "the end". In Sputnik, the walls were covered with huge, cool backdrops and on one of the walls there was a projection screen displaying some really nice pics throughout the night.

Amon was up playing, and he delivered a very good set. I was not too keen on getting up and dance already, but the crowd on the dancefloor had a ball. As more people turned up, the vibe got better and better and the tunes blasted out from the loudspeakers, putting a smile on more than one face. (me, I was smiling _a lot_, right Peter?!) =:)

Banel took over after Amon, and he did a great set too. People were still 'aving it on the dance floor, and I started to move around slowly. When Anti stepped up, I seriously got into it. What a set! He held us just where Banel had left us, not even thinking of letting us get away that easily. He had the crowd whistling and cheering him on, and I was stunned by the great vibe.

Emok was last man out, with a mission to put us in that cosy, chilly mood. I'm happy to announce that he indeed succeeded. It was now around 10am, and even though the dance floor wasn't as packed as it had been in the middle of the night, there were still lots of people up and dancing, having a fantastic time.

The party ended at noon, and a crowd of exhausted but smiley and happy people left the venue. Another Outpost party had turned out to be sheer success. I really look forward to next one!

Special greets to Peter for an awesome experience. =:)
