Well well well. Just as we expected they tried to fill the place totally. Rotundum needed to get 800 people paying their way in, and as soon that was done, they let another 400 enter. The music was of course brilliant. When we got there, Frank E played some really beautiful tunes. We went inside the sauna and steamed for a while. The heat was unbelievable. I stood absolutely still and the sweat dripped from my nose and chin, and ran along my cheeks down. My clothes were absolutely soaked. At that point, my highest wish was not that it would get cooler in there, no, I wished I was born a boy. That way, I could at least have taken my top off. The decorations were so super---that huge flower standing in the middle of the dancefloor got my whole attention as did the possibilities to actually crawl up and dance on it. When I figured my plan was not good enough, I settled for some space behind Mr Hallucinogen up on stage. He was in the experimental mood. We heard some strange tunes. And he almost blasted us off this planet in the end of his act, it was so fast and so heavy I almost believed I'd entered a hardcore-party instead... The heat was too much, I just couldn't move around...I gave his final mixes a miss and went outside instead. Got back in around 6 in the morning. To my surprise and happiness some people had left, there was more space on the now wet slippery dancefloor. Very inviting...NOT. But Graham picked us up, played music made in heaven and off I was again! Like a rocket, up in the sky. The legendary bag of lollipops came out, I shared with sweaty yet happy souls trancing away in the cold Danish night. My waterbottle danced around on itself, but always returned to me. After Graham, it all turned quiet. We yelled and shouted and wow, what a surprise we were in for! On stage, the one and only Serge took place. Now that was bliss and the ultimate booster we all had been searching for. I danced like crazy, this was so MAGICAL! My firesticks came out (sparkling lights) and I took a few rounds with them just to see the happiness in people's eyes. Wish it could go on and on ... but, every good thing must come to an end ... (or else it wouldn't be *soooooo* good when it happens) I still get annoyed thinking about the organizers that couldn't stop counting money. And I wonder how they could give the chill-out a miss?! I also give myself a *huge* plus for helping the guy who'd went somewhere else lying on the floor next to the stage - the ambulance showed up and "mended" him after he'd been carried out into fresh air. Also, a *big* hi to Johannes ... see you at the next one!!! let love rule ~ chrissie ~ |
